警示信号
- 价格远低于附近同类房屋。 问清原因。
- 催促立即付款, for example “another buyer is waiting”.
- 看房前先付款, especially to reserve a rental you have not seen.
- 要求付款到个人账户。 Purchase money goes to your lawyer’s client account or an account named in the signed agreement.
- 声称“身在国外”的业主 and cannot show the property, so you must pay first.
- 抄袭的房源: the same photos under different names, prices or places.
- 最后一刻更改银行账户 by email or message. Confirm by phone on a number you found yourself.
- 没有注册编号。 Only a registered estate agent may carry on estate agency business. See choosing an agent.
- 承诺签证或保证回报 tied to a property.
如何保护自己

- 核查代理。 Use the Board’s register; see our agent guide.
- 核查房产。 Ask your own lawyer to search the title. The registered owner should match the seller or landlord.

- 保留记录 of messages, receipts and listing screenshots.
- 慢一点。 A real property will still be there in a few days.
