1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Home Hunter Malaysia (the “Site”), operated by Home Hunter Global Group Ltd (“we”, “us”), company number 17387203, registered office International House, 64 Nile Street, London, N1 7SR. By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What we do, and do not do
The Site is an advertising and discovery platform. Listings are provided by registered agents and others. We check the registration of agents before their profile is shown, but we do not inspect properties, guarantee that any listing is accurate or available, take part in any negotiation or contract, or hold any money. Guides on the Site are general information and not legal, tax, financial, immigration or investment advice. Take professional advice before you commit to a purchase or a rental.
3. Using the Site
- You must be 18 or over.
- Do not misuse the Site: no scraping, no automated bulk access without our written permission, no attempts to interfere with security, no false enquiries, and no use of agent contact details for unrelated marketing.
- Keep your account details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Terms for agents and anyone who uploads content
Your right to upload
You must be authorised to advertise each property, and you must own, or have permission to use, every photo, video, floor plan, description, brochure and other item you upload (“Content”).
Licence to us
You keep ownership of your Content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, compress, translate, reproduce and promote your Content on the Site, in our emails and in our marketing of the Site and your listing, for as long as the listing is live and for a reasonable period afterwards to complete backups and legal obligations.
Watermarks and other portals
Do not upload images or video that carry another property portal’s watermark, logo or branding, or that you have copied from another portal or a third party without permission. We may remove such Content without notice.
Accuracy
Listings must be true, current and not misleading. Prices, size, tenure and availability must be accurate. Withdraw or update a listing that is sold, let or withdrawn. Do not post a listing for property you are not authorised to advertise, and do not post duplicates. Display your correct REA or REN registration details.
Automated helper for uploaded brochures
If you use our brochure assistant, the document you upload is processed by an automated tool to suggest listing details. The assistant is provided by our service provider, Anthropic PBC; see our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for checking and correcting the suggestions before publishing. Do not upload documents that contain personal data of others (for example, identity documents of a buyer or a tenant), or confidential information you are not allowed to share.
Personal data you handle
You are independently responsible, as a data user in your own right, for complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any other applicable data protection law in relation to personal data you collect, receive through the Site (including enquiries and viewing requests) or upload. You must have a lawful basis and any required notices or consents for personal data in your Content, and you must handle enquiries passed to you in line with your own privacy obligations.
Removal and suspension
We may edit, decline, hide or remove Content, and suspend an account, if we reasonably believe these terms or the law have been broken, or to protect users. We will tell you why where we can.
Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses and reasonable costs we incur as a result of your Content or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
5. Enquiries and viewing requests
When you send an enquiry, we pass your details to the agent for that listing. Any agreement you make is with the agent or the owner, not with us. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Site design, text, guides, logos and software belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use. Do not copy or republish them without our written permission.
7. Links to other sites
We link to official and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
8. Our responsibility
The Site and its content are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on a listing, guide or agent, for interruptions to the Site, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Reporting problems
Report a suspicious listing or a concern to info@homehuntermalaysia.com.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Last updated: 27 September 2026.
